Black & White 1st Series: all 60 cards
The B&W cards have no titles. Each one shows a photo of one Beatle with a facsimile signature. Subjects below are as listed in the PSA Price Guide, accessed 2026-10-07 (PSA misspells #9 as “Harrsion”; corrected here).
The split isn’t even. By PSA’s listing, Series 1 has George Harrison 14, John Lennon 15, Paul McCartney 16 and Ringo Starr 15.

“Guide above commons” means PSA’s guide lists that card above the $20 (NM 7) / $50 (NM-MT 8) common value at the grades shown. Guide values are estimates, not sales. Full guide table: Beatles collector’s guide.
Series 2, Series 3, Color, Diary and A Hard Day’s Night
We list these at set level for now: the count and numbering are in the table at the top. Card-by-card lists will be added after we’ve checked them against a second source.
How to use this checklist
- Sort by set first. The numbering overlaps: Color #1–64, A Hard Day’s Night #1–55 and B&W #1–60 all start at 1. The photo type (B&W vs color, portrait vs movie still) and the back tell them apart.
- Diary cards carry an “A” after the number (1A–60A). Full list: 1964 Beatles Diary checklist.
- B&W series follow on from each other: 1–60, 61–115, 116–165.
- Note the condition as you go: corners, centering, print spots and back writing. See the PSA grading scale.
